FULL LIST: Miss World Philippines 2018 winners, special awards
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American Katarina Sonja Rodriguez will represent the Philippines at the upcoming Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China after winning the Miss World Philippines 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 7.
Apart from the title itself, the Davao beauty also won special awards such as Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Cosmo Skin Award, Best in Long Gown, Miss Resorts World Manila, Miss Bench Body and the Beach Beauty Challenge.
Former Miss Arizona USA and Century Tuna Superbods 2018 Grand Winner Maureen Montagne was hailed as Miss Eco Philippines 2018.
Kimi Mugford won Miss Multinational Philippines 2018. Singer Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, daughter of basketball star Paul Alvarez and former actress Almira Muhlach, won as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018. Chanel Morales was hailed as the First Princess, while Pearl Hung is the Second Princess.
Other special awards include Miss Bluewater Day Spa and Miss Tanduay that went to Maureen Montagne; Best Skin by Cathy Valencia Award and Miss Erase Placenta awarded to Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez; while Chanel Morales received Miss Photogenic and Miss Erase Placenta.
Other contestants who made it to the top 10 are Miss Earth Air 2017 and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Kim De Guzman; Kylah Sanchez, Denielle Magno, and Marianne Marquez.
