KC Concepcion happy for sister's first runner-up win at Miss Universe Sweden
MANILA, Philippines — Actress KC Concepcion’s half sister, Cloie Syquia Skarne, almost made it to the Miss Universe 2018 to compete with the Philippines’ Catriona Gray.
Cloie, daughter of actor Gabby Concepcion and Jenny Syquia, was crowned as first runner-up at this year’s Miss Universe Sweden.
“1st runner up Miss Universe Sweden,” Cloie posted on her Instagram account.
“Thank you for last night everyone! I had so much fun on stage. Thank you to my friends, family and fans for endless love and support. The night wouldn't have been the same without you,” she wrote in another post on Instagram.
"I’m sure you were absolutely amazing, beautiful," KC Concepcion commented on Cloie's post.
Emma Strandberg will represent Sweden in the upcoming Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. She and Catriona previously competed in Miss World 2016.
Other winners include Miss International Sweden 2018 Izabell Hahn and Miss Bikini Universe 2018 Lina Ljungberg.
Cloie was crowned as Miss Earth Sweden 2016. She finished at the top 8 of the competition held in Manila.
