Shamcey busy balancing wedding preparations and new hosting stint

MANILA, Philippines- Shamcey Supsup’s schedule is getting busier and busier as she prepares for her wedding with Lloyd Lee this December.

She didn’t think preparations for the wedding will be hectic, since she only wants a simple one. But as they progress, changes occur and the details are adding up as well.

But since she can’t keep it that simple, Shamcey wants its motif to be “more of classic, I don’t want it loud,” she relates in an interview Thursday afternoon, October 24.

As for her wedding gown which was designed by Francis Libiran and Cherry Veric, the beauty queen says its look will have a resemblance to her evening gown for Miss Universe 2011.

She also reveals that, “We have a wedding here (Philippines) and we’ll have another wedding somewhere,” followed by a shy smile.

Meanwhile, aside from the wedding preparations, Shamcey will be busy hosting the season two of Lifestyle Channel’s “Interior Motifs,” which was first hosted by Angel Aquino.

This is her “dream project” since she will be able to apply here her knowledge in architecture. Shamcey is an architecture graduate from University of the Philippines-Diliman, and had a license last June 2011.

But she admits that her knowledge in architecture is limited, so what she do is “I ask for help every time I have a shoot, I research talaga."

“Kasi more than two years I stopped working as an architect di ba,” she adds. “Syempre when you don’t practice it much anymore you forget some of the things that you learned in college and while working.”

Shamcey also finds this show an advantage for her since they’re busy as well preparing for the house where she and her husband will live in.
