MANILA, Philippines - Quest (photo) recently finished his second, full-length studio album Life Of A Champion. The album is a collection of 13 original tracks written by the hip-hop and R&B singer-songwriter himself, 10 of which are in English with three Tagalog songs.

The CD’s carrier single is Sige Lang and it was arranged by Quest in collaboration with Bo Jam of Flip Music. Quest says that he wrote Sige Lang with the intention of inspiring Filipinos.

For the past three weeks, Sige Lang has been climbing the charts of MYX Channel and Magic 89.9 on FM radio.

Its music video is directed by Nolan Bernardino and is currently on the No. 4 slot of its Top Ten Daily Countdown, No. 6 on Pinoy MYX Countdown and No. 6 on MYX Hit Charts which combines the top OPM and international videos of each week. Sige Lang also already has 30,000 hits on YouTube. It also climbed to 19th spot of Magic 89.9’s Top 30 weekly countdown.

Chot Reyes selected Sige Lang as the “National Fight Song” of Gilas Pilipinas Basketball Team.

Quest, who won MYX Philippines’ Best Urban Music Video for 2010, also recently signed a management contract with Manila Genesis Entertainment & Management, Inc. He was the opening act in Gary Valenciano’s successful concert series last summer, On Higher Ground at Music Museum.

Quest also recently did a three-day freshmen treat concert with an estimated crowd of 3,000 college freshmen at UP Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman which was sponsored by the UP Students of Destiny Organization.

“I am very honored with the success of Sige Lang. I really hope the song will help in inspiring all of us to move forward and reach our dreams,” says Quest.
