McKnight, The Maine at Skydome
MANILA, Philippines - Mallgoers will have the rare opportunity to meet two international performers — R&B singer Brian McKnight and The Maine up close and personal when they make stops at the SM City North EDSA Skydome.
Catch McKnight in Meet the Soul of R&B today at 4 p.m. His CDs from Astroplus will be available during the event and also at SM City San Lazaro, where he will proceed after the Skydome event.
The visit is part of his Back with Brian McKnight Live in Manila tour tomorrow, March 16, 8 p.m. at Smart Araneta Coliseum with special guest Angeline Quinto. McKnight has earned himself a spot in contemporary music history selling over 20 million albums worldwide. In addition to being a singer, songwriter and producer, McKnight is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays nine instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussions, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet.
Meanwhile, the American pop rock band The Maine is set to rock the concert stage in The Maine Live in Manila Concert on March 31, 7 p.m. at the Skydome. The band which was formed in January 2006, is known for hit singles like Don’t Stop Now and Into Your Arms.
The Maine is composed of John O’Callaghan on vocals and guitar; Kennedy Brock, rhythm guitar and back-up vocals; Jared Monaco, lead guitar; Patrick Kirch, drums and Garrett Nickelsen, bass guitar.
