Universal Records' platinum harvest

MANILA, Philippines - Kamikazee recently received a double-platinum award for its Maharot album (which spawned the multi-awarded and monster hit Narda) from Universal Records. The awarding was held shortly before the release of the band’s new song, Long Time Noisy CD.

Completing UR’s current smash-hit harvest is the platinum award for the blockbuster album, The Great Filipino Songbook, of Ogie Alcasid (photo) who received the award from UR manager Kathleen Dy-Go.
