Life’s a beach at Bali’s Lovina

-
At the northern tip of the tropical paradise of Bali lies a beach that’s perfect for watching the sun set over the horizon, for snorkeling, and for diving with the amazing creatures of the deep blue sea. This unspoiled portion of paradise is called Lovina, where one can relax and be mesmerized by the wonders of this heavenly place.

The same relaxing ambiance of this Balinese beach is brought to life in the Lovina model unit of Bali Mansions designed by talented interior designers Ivy and Cynthia Almario. Ivy describes Lovina as having "more modern accessories like artworks and ceramic ware, with more contemporary lines." Meanwhile, Cynthia describes the whole Lovina mansion as having a Zen minimalist look.

When guests alight their vehicle, the soothing ripples of the family pond welcome them, just as the calm waters of the Lovina Beach have received thousands of visitors over the past decades. This mansion will surely be a hit with guests and relatives, as the den is just beside the main door. The den comes in earthy tones of brown and beige and is made soothing by the mirrors. Its multi-functional sofa bed can accommodate two guests until the next day, and their stay is made extra special by the full bath that goes with the den.

At the door, a modern display inspired by library shelves previews the modern Asian concept of the whole mansion. White ceramics in various appealing shapes and sizes strikingly stand out against the dark brown wood finish. Ivy notes that this decorative space can also be turned into a library.

The living room, with the South Forbes trademark of double height ceilings, features a five-seater beige and light brown sofa escorted by modern Asian lamps on both sides. Even if guests are being entertained at the spacious living room, a double sliding door keeps family affairs private at the dining room. The dining area’s tables and chairs propose an extraordinary interplay between leather and wengue wood. Incidentally, the dining room introduces a chic breakfast nook, where one can have intimate morning meals, or quick bites that are easily prepared from the stylish and luxurious MFI kitchen.

On the second floor, three ultra comfortable rooms, each with its own bath, allow a daily relaxing respite for every family member. The girl’s room features a hand-painted mural with Southeast Asian bamboo stalks seemingly swaying to the cool winds from the Tagaytay hills, lulling the family’s princess to sleep. And when she wakes up, she can watch the sun rise over her private veranda, which is also perfect for a chitchat with close friends. Her wardrobe has an Asian inspiration as well, as these are blanketed by raffia shades.
