Peralta named WFDFI head

MANILA, Philippines - Octavio ‘Bobby’ Peralta has recently been named secretary general of the World Federation of Development Financing Institutions (WFDFI), the umbrella organization of more than 300 development finance institutions (DFIs), or interchangeably called development banks, in 156 countries and territories around the world. Peralta is currently the secretary general of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia & the Pacific (ADFIAP), a Manila-based,102 member-DFIs in 40-countries. He is the third Filipino and the only one named twice to lead the WFDFI in its 37-year history. He was also the WFDFI secretary general from 2010 to 2012.
