Smart Money users get treat for Christmas

MANILA, Philippines - Smart Communications Inc. is launching its biggest Christmas raffle to date as a way to thank Smart Money users all over the country.

At stake for the grand prize is a brand-new Toyota Vios with a 1.3-liter engine on manual transmission.  There will also be four winners of consolation prizes worth P100,000, which will be credited to their Smart Money accounts.

The promo is open to new and existing Smart Money accountholders.  The promo period is from Oct. 15 to Jan. 15, 2014.

To qualify, Smart Money accountholders can do any of the following: use Smart Money to reload airtime (own or others); pay bills using Smart Money; use Smart Money to shop at any MasterCard/MasterCard Online merchant; and domestic money transfer and international remittance using Smart Money.

Non-Smart Money accountholders may apply for a Smart Money Card and use it at least once within the promo period. New subscriptions with at least one transaction within the promo period qualify for 100 electronic entries.

Smart Money airtime reloads and payment of bills will earn 10 electronic entries.  Transactions must have minimum amount of P50 to qualify.

Domestic fund transfers and international remittances coursed through Smart Money will earn 30 and 50 electronic entries, respectively.  There is no minimum amount required for these transactions.

Subscribers may then call the Smart Money hotlines 845-7777 (using your landline) and 15177 (using your Smart mobile phone) to check their earned points on a daily or weekly basis.

Depending on transactions, subscribers will be notified via SMS of the points earned within 24 to 72 hours.

All qualified Smart Money transactions shall automatically earn raffle points and entered automatically in the e-tambiolo.

Smart Money transactions done after the promo expires on Jan. 15, 2014 will no longer earn raffle points.

Raffle draw is set on Jan. 17, 2014 at the Smart Tower in Makati City. 

Winners may claim their prizes from Jan. 18 to March 18 at the Smart Tower or at designated Smart stores from Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
