MANILA, Philippines — Hotel101 Global Inc., the Nasdaq-listed subsidiary of DoubleDragon Corp., is off to a strong start, with its newly opened hotel in Spain posting robust occupancy rates since its launch.

Hotel101 Global said the 680-room Hotel101-Madrid, which officially opened last month, has generated over 45,000 hotel night bookings, representing 5.44 million euros or about P387 million in revenues.

“This successful start bodes well for continued revenue generation from Hotel101-Madrid in the European market,” the company said.

Located on a prime 6,593-square-meter site, Hotel101-Madrid has been designated as the official hotel partner for the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035 through an exclusive agreement with MATCH Hospitality Europe.

Since March, Hotel101 Global has started generating recurring revenue from hotel operations at Hotel101-Madrid.

The company said this is expected to be followed by recurring revenue generation in Japanese yen currency from the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan, which is slated to open in December 2026.

Hotel101 Global said the 519-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort in the Philippines also continue to consistently operate at very high occupancy levels.

“The year 2026 is set to be the year when DoubleDragon starts generating a high volume of recurring revenues from its portfolio of provincial community mall leasing, industrial warehouse leasing, office leasing, and its hospitality portfolio in the Philippines and overseas,” it said.

DoubleDragon, the property developer chaired by tycoons Edgar “Injap” Sia II and Tony Tan Caktiong, is set to achieve a 2026 milestone with its highest number of room openings in a single year.

A total of 2,229 new hotel rooms are slated to be operational this year, including 680 rooms in Madrid, which opened last March, followed by 519 rooms Davao, 548 rooms in Cebu, and 482 rooms in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan.
