Standard Insurance retains top international ratings

MANILA, Philippines - Leading motorcar insurer Standard Insurance has been awarded as the best non-life insurance company in the Philippines by World Finance and by the Global Banking & Finance Review.

Both prestigious London-based publications cited Standard Insurance as the best in customer service and accorded it the highest rating for a Philippine non-life insurance company with an investment grade of A-(single A minus) for claims paying ability by Global Credit Rating.

Standard Insurance president and CEO Patricia Echauz-Chilip said Standard Insurance is the only one in the local industry that provides speedy repair cost estimates with the use of its own software – responsive appraise of photo inspection data or RAPID, which runs on tablets.

“Our company, which is also foremost in general property insurance, is being backed by more than 350 car-dealer tieups nationwide and supported by our technical group,” she added.

Standard Insurance recently marked its 57th year in the industry with the theme “In Pursuit of Excellence,” befitting to its global recognition for excellence in insurance service and innovation.
