Eye care pioneer launches new product

MANILA, Philippines - The Optical Shop (TOS) Inc., a pioneer in the local eye care industry, has reinvented itself yet again by introducing another first in the local eyewear industry – The Optical Shop Credit Card.

This innovation was a result of their-tie-up with UnionBank. Aside from the usual perks of having a UnionBank Credit Card, such as rewards points, installment programs and discount programs, there are additional benefits to using the TOS card.

For example, customers can get a complete eye check for free just by presenting their card at any TOS branch nationwide. Those with eyewear can also have their glasses adjusted and silicon nose pads replaced for free, after showing their card.

Short on cash? Cardholders can take advantage of installment plans from three up to 36 months depending on the cost their purchase. Customers availing of installment plans of up to 12 months can enjoy a zero percent interest rate as well. This deal, upon satisfying terms and conditions, applies to all items and brands offered in TOS.

TOS has started back in 1986, when it became the very first optical shop to open a branch within a mall. Customers can get their prescription glasses for stock lenses within one hour instead of having to come back another day. TOS was the first optical shop in the country to offer this convenient service.
