MANILA, Philippines - Rain or Shine continued to tweak its lineup by dealing Mike Tolomia to Meralco in exchange for fellow Gilas cadet Ed Daquioag.
The Elasto Painters agreed on the Tolomia-Daquioag swap shortly after their separate trade transaction with Phoenix Petroleum involving Jeff Chan, Mark Borboran and a future Phoenix draft rights.
The ROS team has been on a rebuilding process since coach Yeng Guiao’s transfer to NLEX.
They first dealt away Paul Lee to the Star Hotshots and JR Quiñahan to the NLEX Road Warriors.
The Tolomia-Daquioag deal was the second trade transaction involving Gilas cadets. The first was the one between San Miguel Beer and GlobalPort involving Arnold Van Opstal and Von Pessumal.
