BTV to air NBA’s ‘big announcement’

MANILA, Philippines - The NBA will hold a press conference on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena to “announce something BIG and exciting.”

Fans can tune in to the special announcement as BTV will be airing the entire NBA press conference live.

BTV is available on Sky Cable Ch.33 and Cignal Ch.44

Since 2006, Basketball TV has been the only 24-hour cable channel in the Philippines dedicated to covering the best basketball leagues around the world.

One main asset of the channel is showing NBA games. For an entire NBA season, BTV airs at least one game every day, including the preseason and playoffs.  NBA TV-related programs and special documentaries are also shown on BTV to give fans an in-depth look inside the world of the most prestigious basketball league.

In recent years, the NBA, in partnership with BTV, has given fans a more interactive experience by bringing in some of the league’s players and coaches. In 2012, Coach Erik Spoelstra of the Miami Heat and Brook Lopez of the Brooklyn Nets came to visit for a series of mall tours to promote NBA awareness across the metro.
