Pets now allowed at MRT

MANILA, Philippines — Commuters can now bring their pets at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3, the MRT-3 management announced over the weekend.

A Facebook user posted a photo of her dog riding the MRT-3 train, with the caption “Maimai, the MRT baby.”

The MRT-3 management allowed passengers to carry their pets inside trains provided they comply with the policies set by the rail line.

Commuters should place their pets inside carriers measuring two feet by two feet.

Passengers are advised to strictly observe COVID protocols while inside the trains.
