Waterfront Cebu City welcomes new GM
CEBU CITY, Philippines – Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino welcomes the arrival of its new general manager, Philippe Frugère, a French national who has 15 years of work experience as GM in various luxury and five-star hotels in different countries such as France, the United States, Switzerland, Maldives, Mauritius and Oman and in North Africa.
Frugère has handled world-renowned hotel brands such as the InterContinental Hotels Group and Kerzner International’s luxurious One & Only Resorts.
In his various experiences, he is adept in the business of convention centers and casinos, making him the perfect candidate to manage Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Prior to joining Waterfront, he was the GM within Sun Hotels & Resorts, a chain of luxury hotels in Maldives and the group GM for a private owner in the Sultanate of Oman, where he stayed for almost three years.
Frugère’s vast work experience will surely provide an international flare to Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino’s competitiveness in the hotel industry.
