Island Cove to hold Mother's Day cook-off
MANILA, Philippines - Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park, the premiere business and leisure destination south of Metro Manila, will hold a cooking competition on May 9 to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Registrants to the “Mother’s Day Cook-Off Year 3” may be a mother-daughter, mother-son or wife-husband team.
The competition will be at Sangley Point Bar and Grill, one of the restaurants in the resort.
The cook-off will be divided into two categories: Main Dish and Healthy Merienda.
Contestants will prepare a dish for each category. Recipes should include no more than 10 ingredients and should take less than 30 minutes to cook. Ingredients will be provided by the resort and San Miguel-Purefoods, the major sponsor of the event.
Prizes up for grabs are overnight accommodations at Island Cove Hotel, gift certificates at Sangley Point Bar and Grill and the Island Spa, gift packs from sponsors, and fresh flowers.
