Have you ever thought of what you would buy if you were given a million pesos to spend on anything you wish? With prices so high nowadays, what can we possibly buy for a million?
Its not every day we get the opportunity to win a million pesos, and I try to avoid endorsing products in my articles but if its a chance to share with you an opportunity to win a million pesos, why not? Just by either getting a Samsung phone that comes with a free Globe plan or by subscribing to a Globe plan with any Samsung phone, new Globe subscribers automatically get a chance to win a P1 million shopping spree at Rustans!
Rod Feliciano, chairman, DHL: I will look for a vintage Corvette up to year 1967 and restore it. It would cost me a million or a little bit more.
THEO SEILER, process management director: There would be quite a number of nice things I would like to buy I would focus on a painting; one of my favorite painters is Malang. He has a number of earlier paintings that would fit that price range. An alternative would be a Swiss watch. I like watches a lot. Though my wife and son would enjoy the painting more.
BERNADETTE SEMBRANO, TV host: If I had a million, Id save it. If I had to spend it, Id use it to buy a bigger place.
ARNOLD CLAVIO, TV and radio host: I would buy a hectare of land and build a haven for terminally ill children. I would want them to feel a more loving and caring world, so when they leave us they will tell the angels that its not a cruel world after all.
JENINE DESIDERIO, artist: If I had a million, Id use part of it to put the less fortunate scholars in schools and part of it to put up a business that will create jobs for others and then use whatevers left for shopping!
BRAD TURVEY, TV personality: If it wasnt to play safe and invest the money then Id have to use it to deck my place out with all the new furniture and an entertainment system.
JUAN SARTE, stylist: Another car for color coding. With the makeup and equipment I carry around, a car is a necessity.
LILA ALMARIO, shoemaker: Fabulous leather accessories and embellishments to flatter and pamper the feet of my beautiful clients.
