UPAA 2011 Yearbook off the press

-

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) 2011 Yearbook is now available.

Produced for this year’s UP general alumni-faculty homecoming and reunion today at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City, the Yearbook includes articles and essays of general interest written by notable alumni of the university. They are former UP president Jose Abueva, newspaper columnist and former UP press director Elmer Ordoñez, and academician of the National Academy of Science and Technology and former director of the BFAD Dr. Quintin Kintanar.

Other alumni belonging to the jubilee years 1951, 1961, 1971, and 1986 also contributed their essays, recalling the years when they were undergraduates in their respective colleges. Their stories, some sad and nostalgic and some funny, provide the reader with a taste of how it was in the “good old days.”

The UPAA 2011 Yearbook is now available at the UPAA Office, Bahay ng Ang Alumni, UP Diliman.
