The coolest facility in the north
Setting a benchmark for innovation and quality service in the refrigeration industry, Alma Refrigeration & Cold Storage Inc., recently inaugurated its biggest and most modern cold storage facility in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Spearheaded by indefatigable president and chief executive officer Jun Lagman, the well-attended affair marks the continuous expansion of Alma Refrigeration & Cold Storage Inc., which has been serving the freezing and refrigeration requirements of the Northern Luzon for over 32 years.
After the blessing ceremony, guests were treated to a tour of the company’s newest plant, which boasts of bigger capacity, state-of-the-art equipment, and 10 newly-built rentable cold storage rooms available for frozen meat, poultry, and seafood as well as dairy and agricultural products.
Alma Refrigeration & Cold Storage Inc. is also accredited by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).

Cultural patrons
Johann Strauss Society co-founder Letty Syquia and Monaco consul Fortune Aleta-Ledesma were recently awarded a “decoration of honor in gold services rendered to the Republic of Austria” for successfully promoting cultural activities. Both most admirable ladies are the first Filipinos to receive such an honor. Congratulations!
Sun, sea and Punta Fuego
It was sun, sea, and mouthwatering treats as Joseling and Fining Tambunting graciously hosted an enjoyable outing at their rest house in Punta Fuego. Those present included Jimmy Laya, Joseling Tambunting, Imelda Katigbak, Minerva Tanseco, Fining Tambunting, Thelma Gana, Jorge and Frieda Hizon, and Chichi Laperal.
Golden hearts abounds
The Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) will hold its annual “Casa Y Jardin” Christmas Bazaar on Oct.11 and 18 at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel InterContinental. This year’s thrust is to build shelter for 30 families in partnership with Gawad Kalinga with the assistance of Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga. Christmas shopping has never been this meaningful as you also become part of CWC’s over 90 charitable cause-oriented projects. You’re all heart, ladies!
