MANILA, Philippines - The motorcycle community went full force at the A.Venue Music Hall in Makati during the grandest motorcycle event of the season, “The 2011 Full Throttle: Rock and Ride.” The event was presented by Von Dutch in partnership with MotorCycle magazine and Power Wheels magazine.

Opening the event with the ceremonial ribbon cutting were Makati City Mayor Jejomar “Jun-jun” Binay Jr., Von Dutch project coordinator James Parry and Two-Wheel Enthusiasts Network Inc. president, Lester Dizon.

Local riders from small to big bikes, bike clubs, motorcycle manufacturers and dealers, members of the media and motoring enthusiasts gathered in celebration of the dynamic motorcycle lifestyle which was hosted by Anthony Suntay, Aliya Parcs and Raymund Gorospe.  Fire dancers, drumbeaters and motorcycle stunt exhibitions gave additional thrill to the revelry. A wide variety of motorbikes from Kawasaki, Suzuki, Demak, BMW Motorad, Hardcore Brothers and many more were on display to the delight of motorcycle fans.

Guests were treated to snacks and drinks from Asia Brewery/Colt 45; received Von Dutch giveaways; got raffle stubs (the grand prize was a brand new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom); and had fun having their pictures taken at the photo booth.

Among the awards given were the Early Bird Award, 2011 Full Throttle Bike Club of the Year and the Von Dutch Choice Awards which includes Best Themed Bike, Best in Paint, Best in Radical Custom and Best Vintage/ Classic Bike.

Bikers and rockers partied the night away from dusk until dawn with live performances by Top Junk, Color It Red, The Jerks, Epic, Go Girls, Arko, Coffee Break Island, and Luis Galang & The Uod.
