Bakery Fair showcases the latest advances in baking equipment, technology, and techniques as well as giving insights into industry trends worldwide.

On Feb. 17-19, 2017 at the World Trade Centre in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Bakery Fair 2017 will showcase the latest advances in baking equipment, technology, ingredients, and techniques as well as give insights into industry trends worldwide. 
 
Three compelling reasons why Bakery Fair 2017 will be a baker’s paradise:
 

1. Seminars showcasing the latest bakery trends worldwide 

A series of seminars will be conducted by Bakels Philippines, Inc.; Mix Plant, Inc.; Commodity Quest, Inc.; Angel Yeast Global Pacific Distribution Network Corp.; Puratos Philippines, Inc.; Atlantic Grains, Inc.; Innovatrade Ingredients Corp.; and Bakersfield. Some of the topics to be discussed are contemporary cakes by the world master chef 2016, mixes for product innovation, and chocolate obsession by Chef Gene among others.

A Taiwanese baking demonstration will be conducted to be followed by book launching entitled “The Chinese Wheat Foods Bible” by Master Chef Chou (Mr. Chou Ching-Yuan, a Taiwan National Treasure for Chinese Pastry).
 

2. Learn new techniques from the best bakers in the country

Raise your level of baking competency as you witness professional bakers competing in the different categories:

SAF GOLD 2017 BAKERS CUP
 
Organized by Sonlie International, Inc./Lesaffre, FCBAI and Bakery Fair 2017 in partnership with Bacolod Negros Occidental Bakers Association (BACNOBA), Davao Bakers Club, Inc., and Philippine Baking Institute.
 
The elimination round of this competition was held last October 2016. The final round will be on Feb. 17, 2017. 
 
 
Angel Yeast Steam Buns Competition
 
The elimination round will be on February 3 and 4 at the FCBAI Research and Training Institute. The final round will be on February 18 at the World Trade Center. The winners will receive P20,000 (1st prize), P10,000 (2nd prize), and P5,000 (3rd prize).
 
 
The 1st Philippine Pasalubong Challenge
 
The final round is scheduled on Feb. 19, 2017 at the World Trade Center. The grand winner will receive P20,000, while the best in tart dessert, best in cookies, and best in fruit filled pastry will each receive P5,000.

 

3. The latest in tools, equipment, and ingredients with exclusive discounts

Over 200 local and foreign suppliers will be bringing in the latest baking equipment and ingredients that will give bakers and businesses a competitive edge. Exclusive discounts will be available only during Bakery Fair 2017.
