MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo, who celebrates her birthday today, is set to formally launch her new line of cosmetics designed for those into active lifestyle.

Called “Generation Happy Skin Active,” the collection has been formulated to withstand a workout and is recommended for women who are active at all levels, the brand’s statement said.

“Been road-testing all these, and happy to finally have skin-caring makeup that’s safe to use while working out,” Kathryn, who just turned 23, said of the cosmetics line on her Instagram account.

“So proud of you, Kath! Always so amazing and professional to work with! And the way you diligently test and create the products with us is impressive,” the brand’s co-founder and co-owner, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, told Kathryn as a comment on Kath’s Instagram post.

The collection is a follow-up to Kathryn’s first everyday makeup line designed for those with “morena” or brown skin like her.

Kathryn’s first collection, launched last year, included lipsticks suitable for different skin tones, a “no-brush” powder blush and a “no-clump” mascara.

The Active line, meanwhile, includes butter balm and matte lipsticks, lip and cheek tint, cheek stick, eyeshadow stick and gel eyeliner that are reportedly sweat-resistant, long-wearing and breathable.

“The new Love Your Lips Intense Color Butter Balm is my fave right now—cooling, pigmented, softens dry lips, and protects with SPF 15!” Kathryn shared.

Now available in Lazada, the collection will be formally launched by the actress in a fitness party on April 6.
