Imagine Queen Elizabeth wearing origami

MANILA, Philippines - This is the vision of distinguished designer Debbie Co for her latest collection for Ensembles – Victorian period and Japanese culture in vivid colors.

Known for putting intricate details on the clothes through drapes, pleats, tucks and folds, Debbie always creates something that will make a woman feel confident, beautiful, strong, sexy, powerful and independent. Debbie gratefully welcomes the challenge of translating her design concepts to another clientele, the feminine yet modern and timeless women of Ensembles.

Rich hues such as magenta, fuchsia, red, teal, aqua, yellow and the classic black and white complemented the hourglass and waisted silhouettes of her highly anticipated collection for Ensembles. With emphasis on texture, appliqués, irregular cuts, color-blocks and distressed finishes, each piece is contemporary looking while featuring their construction and make-up as part of the final look. “My special collection for Ensembles is modern and romantic, it has a familiar and slightly blissful mood,” says Debbie.

Even Ensembles muse Carmina Villaroel raves about how fabulous the collection is. “The clothes are elegant but can be stylish at the same time. You just have to play around with them and accessorize. I think it caters to career women who want to look and feel good even if they’re busy with their work and don’t have the time to change in case they need to go somewhere like dinner dates or parties after work.”

Must-have pieces from this collection are cover-ups, trench coats, coat dress, high-waisted skirts, shirt dresses, button downs, and shift dresses. Fabrics that range from cotton stretch to cotton voile make the collection flattering and very wearable.

Ensembles by Debbie Co collection is available now at all Ensembles branches: Alabang Town Center, Eastwood Citywalk 2, Festival Supermall, Glorietta, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Galleria, SM Bicutan, SM Megamall, TriÑoma, Chimes Davao. Visit www.ensembles.com.ph for more information.
