Citi cardholders get 50 percent off Cathay Pacific companion fares

MANILA, Philippines - Good news for Citi cardholders: Cathay Pacific’s exclusive 50 percent discount on companion tickets is now extended until the end of the year.  Plus, the promotion has added even more popular destinations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur to the list of exciting destinations.

Using the Citi Premier Miles or Citi Visa Platinum card, cardholders get 50 percent off on tickets for up to two companions on any business or economy flight in selected cities. All other Citi credit cardholders are entitled to a 25 percent discount on tickets for up to three companions.

This offer is valid for the following destinations: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan, and now Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia.  Flights to all destinations are via Hong Kong and can be booked as far as May 31, 2014.

To enjoy the offer, Citi PremierMiles or Visa Platinum cardholders must buy their first ticket on regular adult Economy or Business Class fare via the Cathay Pacific Reservations Hotline at 757-0888 or through the special Citi booking page at www.cathaypacific.ph/citi. After purchase of the first ticket, the half-price companion tickets can be booked via the Cathay Pacific Reservations Hotline. 

This promotion is extended until Dec. 31 with travel period until May 31, 2014.
