Celebrating diversity and diplomacy

The 48th Annual Consular Ball, a prestigious event celebrating international relations and cultural exchange, was held last Dec. 2 at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt, BGC. This sophisticated gala convened diplomats, consuls, business executives, and industry leaders in a night of elegance.

The continuity and evolution of international relations were addressed by both the outgoing dean, Martin Javier-Garcia, Consul General of Spain, and incoming dean, Jesus M. Pineda, Jr., Consul of Fiji, each imparting their vision on diplomacy’s role in an ever-shifting global dynamic.

The chairperson of the event was Consul General of Monaco Fortune Aleta Ledesma and the co-chairpersons were Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa and Ghana Consul Betty Chua.
