Pioneer receives micro award

MANILA, Philippines - In the Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat sa mga Tagapagtaguyod ng Microinsurance hosted by the Insurance Commission last Jan. 31, 2012, five companies were cited for having not only approved microinsurance products but actual issued policies. Pioneer Insurance and Pioneer Life were both recognized. To date, close to half a million Filipinos are covered by Pioneer’s microinsurance programs. Pioneer Life president & CEO Lorenzo Chan received the award for both companies.
