Alleged oral sex punishment at PNPA
Department of the Interior and Local Government chief Eduardo Año sacks PNPA director Joseph Adnol after the controversy involving upperclassmen who allegedly forced freshmen to perform oral sex as punishment.
The PNPA says it is filing an administrative case against the upperclassman cadet who forced two underclassmen to perform oral sex.
It adds that the victims are filing a separate criminal case. The victims said that one of the three upperclassmen allegedly ordered them to perform the act while the other two watched.
Philippine National Police chief Oscar Albayalde says he will order an investigation on the alleged incident at the Philippine National Police Academy involving three cadets who forced two underclassmen to perform oral sex
"Sa ngayon wala pa tayong nakukuhang report no. Kung totoo man yan, kung meron man report yan, I will have it investigated by our [Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management]. At mananagot yung mga responsable diyan," he says in an interview.
Albayalde adds that he had ordered the directorate for personnel last week to relieve all police officers who were assigned at the PNPA in the last two years after rumors about the types of punishments being inflicted on cadets. The PNP chief, however, admits that this is the first time he heard about cadets punishing their fellows.
The incident allegedly happened last October 6.
