MANILA, Philippines — As an actress, TV host, mother of two and a soon bride-to-be engaged to actor Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati has a lot going on in her life, and yet she looks as if the hands of time have not touched her a bit. How does she do it?
In a recent talk for skincare label Cetaphil, Sarah shared her skincare and makeup routine, which she assured, can be done by anyone who wants to spend more time doing something else that matter more than skincare and makeup.
1. Cleanse your skin every morning and night.
Sarah advised to invest in skincare first “because if you have good skin, then you don’t have to put too much makeup. You save time and money.”
2. Go for a light but effective moisturizer.
“Makeup artists always ask me if I moisturized, drank water or put on sunblock before putting makeup on because if you did not do those three things, then the makeup usually becomes cakey,” Sarah shared.
When buying moisturizer, you need something that will stay in your skin, she said.
“Choose a moisturizer that’s light but effective. Always put a moisturizer as a base and make it a part of your everyday skincare routine.”
3. If your skin is already well-moisturized, just put powder on the T-zone to prevent excess oil.
4. Brush some highlighter on top of the cheeks to emphasize the glow your skin got from the moisturizer.
5. Finish the look with a lipstick. Your lip gloss can also be used as eye shadow.
