MANILA, Philippines — South Korean superstar Lee Min Ho got candid about eating and food at his Manila 2023 fan meet yesterday in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

During the “Never have I ever” portion of the fan meet sponsored by property developer SMDC to which Min-ho was an endorser, he was asked if he has ever skipped eating for an entire day. To this, he admitted he has.

“Actually, my face gets swollen easily, so sometimes, if there are important things that I have to prepare for, if there is an opportunity to breathe even just for a moment, my face gets swollen often so I am hungry often and I don’t eat often,” shared the “Boys Over Flowers” star.

“During shoots, I really don’t eat because I really become sensitive regarding this matter,” added the hero of Korean dramas “The Inheritors” and “The King: Eternal Monarch.”

It can be recalled that recently, Min-ho went viral for allegedly gaining weight.

When asked by fan meet host Sam Oh on what has been his diet now, he said: “I don’t follow a diet, but I just don’t eat.”

“When I try to lose weight, I really just don’t eat and when I need to gain, I just eat a lot,” Min-ho said via an interpreter.

As for his comfort food: “I love meats, proteins.”

He also admitted to have gotten a hangover just about a month ago, “My alcohol tolerance is not that high.”

When Sam asked if he would try Filipino delicacies such as Adobo and Lechon, he exclaimed: “Adobo! Lechon!”

“Actually, I haven’t tasted them,” he clarified. Sam then urged him to try.
