MQuest Ventures, PARI team up for 38th Awit Awards
The signing of the partnership deal between MQuest Ventures and PARI for the 38th Awit Awards is led by MediaQuest Holdings chairman Manny V. Pangilinan with other MediaQuest execs, including CEO Jane Basas, first VP Sienna Olaso, content operations head Peter Dizon, content experience manager Rachel Relucio, and content and creative operations manager Richmond Garcia. MANILA, Philippines — The MQuest Ventures (MQV) and the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) have joined forces to host the 38th Awit Awards, powered by “Vibe” and slated on Nov. 16 at the Meralco Theater.

The signing of the partnership deal was held on Wednesday at the PLDT Building in Makati City attended by MediaQuest Holdings chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, MediaQuest CEO Jane Jimenez-Basas, MediaQuest first vice president Sienna Olaso, head of content operations Peter Dizon, content experience manager Rachel Relucio and content and creative operations manager Richmond Garcia.

They were joined by PARI chairman Antonio Ocampo, PARI president lawyer Marivic Benedicto, PARI second vice president Josemaria Lorenzo Valdez, PARI auditor Alvin de Vera and PARI treasurer Jesmon Chua.

“The Awit Awards is the legit stamp of OPM greatness, and through ‘Vibe,’ we are honored to echo and carry this legacy forward,” “Vibe” creator and MQuest Ventures executive Peter Edward Dizon shared.

To be directed by Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, the 2025 edition of Awit Awards “aims to celebrate the nation’s culture and identity and elevate Original Pilipino Music (OPM) during one of its most dynamic eras yet. It also pays tribute to late OPM artists whose legacy continues to shape the industry’s path.”

“Vibe” jocks Ana Ramsey, Maxie, Joao Constancia, Elijah Canlas, Dylan Menor, Ryle Santiago, Paolo Angeles, Kych Minemoto and Queenay are set to host the awards night alongside the “Vibe” Gen Vs.

OPM bands Ben&Ben, Over October and Lola Amour, along with R&B hitmaker Dionela will perform at the awards event.

‘Vibe’ jocks Ana Ramsey, Maxie, Joao Constancia, Elijah Canlas, Dylan Menor, Ryle Santiago, Paolo Angeles, Kych Minemoto and Queenay are set to host the awards night on Nov. 16 at the Meralco Theater.

The 38th Awit Awards has five categories, namely, Performance Awards, Genre Recording Awards, Special Recording Awards, Technical Achievement Awards and the Grand Awards.

The nominees for the Album of the Year are: BINI’s “Talaarawan,” SunKissed Lola’s “Olaholah,” Ben&Ben’s “The Traveller Across Dimensions,” Munimuni’s “Alegorya,” Zild’s “Superpower” and Lola Amour’s self-titled album.

Vying for the Record of the Year Award are SunKissed Lola’s Nene, ena mori’s Heartache Generation, Dionela’s Marilag, The Ridleys’ Love Is and Lola Amour’s Namimiss Ko Na.

For the Song of the Year category, the nominees are: sining composed by Dionela and Jay R, Ikot by Joshua Buizon and Joshua Lua (of Over October), Misteryoso by Gian Bernardino (of Cup of Joe), Pagbigyan by Carl Angelo Guerzon and Francis Luis Beato (of Sugarcane), and Namimiss Ko Na by Raymond King and David Yuhico (of Lola Amour).

The 38th Awit Awards will be broadcast nationwide via “Vibe” on TV5.
