Klea Pineda is moving forward with her life

Kapuso star Klea Pineda has come a long way since becoming the Ultimate Female Survivor of “StarStruck” in 2015. She has retained the same fire and hunger of a teenage girl who aspired to succeed in a reality talent competition.

Klea still embodies the show’s slogan, “Dream, Believe, Survive,” as she navigates her way in the industry.

We recently had a heartfelt conversation on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.” It was her second time on the show, where she discussed in 2023 that she is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Klea revealed in her latest guest appearance that she has three dreams she wants to pursue. “Meron kasi akong three dreams: piloto, artista, and beauty queen.” She has become an actress, and she will soon start attending a flying school to fulfill her goal of becoming a pilot. “Beauty queen, not soon, wala siya sa priority ko as of now, pero hindi nawawala sa pangarap ko iyon,” Klea said.

She believes in God’s perfect timing. The actress is patient while waiting in the wings for her big break, knowing her moment will definitely come. “Alam ko kung saan ako pupunta. Iyon ang importante. Alam ko kung saan ko gusto pumunta at kung ano ang gusto kong puntahan.”

Klea has confirmed on ‘Fast Talk’ that she and Katrice Kierulf have ended their three-year relationship. She says it’s a mutual decision, and there’s no third party involved in their breakup.

Klea is a survivor, not only by emerging as a winner in “StarStruck,” but also by continuously overcoming her personal battles. The actress admitted she was scared for her career when she decided to come out two years ago. “Wala akong idea kung anong mangyayari sa akin after kong aminin sa public iyong sexuality ko. I think doon nanggagaling iyong takot. Iyon ang reason ng kinakatakutan ko.”

Her admission earned mixed reactions from the public. While some people told Klea that she inspired them, others gave unfavorable comments.

“May mga tao pa rin na nagsasabi na, ‘Sayang ka. Ang ganda mo pa naman sana. Walang mangyayari sa career mo dahil ganyan ang ginawa mo.’ Mga ganoong negative reactions, pero hindi na ako natatablan noon. Wala na akong pakialam sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao,” she shared.

Klea confirmed on “Fast Talk” that she and Katrice Kierulf have ended their three-year relationship. It was a mutual decision, according to Klea.

“May mga kanya-kanya kaming priorities. Umabot na kami sa point na gusto niyang unahin ang sarili niya. Gusto ko rin naman unahin ang sarili ko this time. Na-realize rin namin na hindi na kami nakakatulong sa isa’t isa. Parang pi-nu-pull down na lang namin iyong isa’t isa.”

She clarified there was no third party involved in their breakup.

“Sobrang proud akong sabihin iyon na, no. Hindi ko kayang gawin iyon kay Kat kasi masyado kong mahal si Kat. Ayoko nang makita siyang nasasaktan pa. Andami na ring napagdaanan ni Katrice at ayokong makadagdag pa doon, so no.”

Klea also denied that Kat cheated on her.

“No din, Tito Boy. Of course not. And knowing Kat, hindi niya kayang gawin iyon kahit kanino, so no.”

Klea also wishes for Kat’s happiness during the interview.

“Gusto ko maging masaya si Kat. From the bottom of my heart, gusto ko maging masaya talaga siya. Genuinely happy. Iyon lang ang dinarasal ko araw-araw.”
