Kris Bernal gets dream sunflower-filled wedding despite pandemic
MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Kris Bernal described her husband Perry Choi as her answered prayer.
In her Instagram account yesterday, Kris said she spent so many years of searching for the one.
“I spent so many months searching, so many years, even, thinking that I was somehow behind the rest of the world. That there was something wrong with me because I hadn’t found 'the one'. That I was somehow lacking, somehow inefficient, incapable of finding love,” Kris said.
“And then, there you were. An answer to a prayer I had spoken silently so long ago. God answered my prayers with you. And, He even brought me someone far greater than I could ever imagine, someone who challenges me, grows alongside me, and chooses me, every single day,” she added.
She also thanked her husband for giving her dream wedding.
“I have learned that everything does fall according to His plan, and when I let go and let Him, I really do find peace and comfort,” she said.
“My dear husband, @choi.perry, thank you for giving me my dream wedding - even if the only dream I had was to marry you,” she added.
Kris and Perry tied the knot in a church ceremony last September 25 in St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati City.
