MANILA, Philippines — The trio of singer-actor Lance Raymundo, comedienne-singer Beverly Salviejo, and beauty queen and former Holy Angel University lecturer Arienne Louise Calingo brought joys to some 90 neglected and abandoned children at the Quezon City’s Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) a day after Christmas Day despite their hectic schedule.

They were joined by chef Raymond Zamora and US-based certified public accountant-philanthropist Danilo “Chito” Halili. The said trio met again after their outreach activity for former street kids at Angeles City’s Bale Anghel in 2016.

Lance, whose newest song Spoken Words is now available on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes and other digital music stores, and Beverly, whose latest movie Ang Sikreto ng Piso is to be shown in January 2019, entertained the kids who loved to dance and sing with them, while Arienne, 2016 Miss World Philippines’ First Princess and the youngest masteral graduate in her Harvard class who co-hosted the 2018 Mutya ning Angeles, talked delightedly to the kids.

A child made the opening prayer and an RSCC representative provided the welcome (and closing) remarks. Later, the kids did special performance.

The Parañaque-born Chito, a product of St. Andrew’s School, who was once featured in ABS-CBN’s Pipol, gave school supplies and chocolates while Beverly gave some money to each child.
