Joross & Edgar Allan are not homophobic

They are not homophobic.

That, among others, is what Joross Gamboa and Edgar Allan “EA” Guzman have in common. They are also both adventurous in more ways than one, and are so secure with their manhood (masculinity) that they don’t have qualms about playing gay roles such as in their latest starrer, Deadma Walking, which is one of the official eight entries in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Produced by T-Rex Productions (the same company behind the surprise hit Patay Na Si Hesus), Deadma Walking is a comedy-drama-musical about two gay friends who stage a fake death, wake and funeral. It won for Eric Cabahug second prize in the Palanca Awards in 2015, a year before the Paolo Ballesteros movie Die Beautiful was shown to wide acclaim.

“I feel beautiful in a woman’s dress,” admitted EA whose peg was his gay older brother. “The only problem was the heavy eyelashes which made me so sleepy.”

“I hated wearing heels,” said Joross who has played gay roles not only in film but also in television. “It hurt when I walked. Now I appreciate women more. You shouldn’t rush them when walking kasi mahirap at masakit talaga ang naka-heels.”

Asked if they had been propositioned by gays, EA said, “Pa-tease-tease lang.”

And Joross?

“None at all. Bakit, hindi ba ako yummy sa paningin nila? Hehehe!!!”

What is sexy to you?

Joross: It’s how a woman carries herself, the total personality. Ang daming babaeng sexy na hindi ako nasi-sexy-han. Walang dating ba.

EA: I find sense of humor in a woman sexy. In the physical aspect, nice buttocks are sexy especially kung may dimples. I used to be a boobs guy. I now find a woman’s buttocks more appealing.

Joross: Yes, ‘yung may dimples sa taas ng puwet.

When do you feel sexy?

Joross: When I am with my wife.

EA: When I am dancing. I really love dancing.

Sexiest part(s) of your body?

Joross: My head and my neck which is long at medyo ugatin. And also my eyes which are dreamy (mapungay). Maraming nabibiktima ang eyes ko, hehehe!!!

EA: My buttocks which project a certain kind of sexiness when I’m moving.

Sexiest part(s) of a woman’s body?

Joross: Her armpit.

EA: Her feet. But they have to be smooth and well-shaped.

Sexiest part of the house?

Joross: The bedroom.

EA: The kitchen and dining room.

Sexiest time of day?

Joross: Early evening…or before bedtime.

EA: Early morning as soon as I wake up. Iba ang feeling, eh.

Sexiest song?

Joross: Dayang-Dayang. (Proceeds to sing part of it)

EA: I’ll Make Love to You by Boyzone.

Sexiest movie?

Joross: A lot. I watch many sexy movies but I forgot the titles already. One of them is Sutla.

EA: Don Jon which stars Scarlett Johansson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Sexiest TV show?

Joross: Hmmmm, Game of Thrones maybe. Or Spartacus.

EA: Baywatch.

Sexiest car?

Joross: Starex. It’s spacious and many things can happen there, hehehe!!! Doon lahat nangyayari.

EA: Jaguar.

Sexiest musical instrument?

Joross: Violin.

EA: Piano.

Sexiest color?

Joross: Pink and flesh…parang part ng balat na hindi naman.

EA: Black. When I see pictures of women on social media wearing black underwear or black bras, ang lakas ng dating!

Sexiest clothes?
Joross: Boxers…without briefs underneath. I don’t wear briefs, very itchy kasi, eh!

EA: Boxers din.

Sexiest scene that you have seen in a movie?

Joross: Too many to name just one.

EA: The love scene between Johansson and Gordon-Levitt in Don Jon.

Sexiest scene that you’ve done in a movie?

Joross: My love scene with Angeli Bayani in Intoy Syokoy ng Kalye Marino. It was a pumping scene. My character develops STD afterward.

EA: My love scene with Mercedes Cabral in Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me. It started in the bathroom and ended in the bedroom.

Sexiest thing that you have done to yourself?

Joross: It happens in the gym.

EA: Work out in the gym.

Sexiest thing that you’ve done to or with somebody?

Joross: I always do it with my wife, hehehe!!!

EA: I did it inside the elevator with a woman I just met. We were both going to the same party. Binigyan niya ako ng pagkakataon.

Sexiest fantasy?

Joross: I’ve done all my fantasies when I was single…even on a plane.

EA: Maybe doing it on an escalator…for a change? Joke only!

Joross: Kristine Hermosa whose body is well-proportioned. Balanse ang features…Liza Soberano…and Kathryn Bernardo.
