Is Ellen Adarna open for a relationship with John Lloyd Cruz?

Ellen Adarna, presumably on a vacation in Bali, flaunts her curves in a recent Instagram post.

MANILA, Philippines — A few days before Ellen Adarna left to have a vacation in Bali (and party with Big Bang’s Seungri), she was seen in an Instagram story with “Home Sweetie Home” co-star John Lloyd Cruz.

For some time now, Ellen has been linked to John Lloyd, also fondly called JLC, because both are good looking, are single, and not to mention, seem to have emerged from major breakups recently.

In a recent interview with Philstar.com during her launch as a Front Row skincare product endorser, Ellen said she only hangs out with JLC “kasi magkasama kami sa ‘Home Sweetie Home.’”

“Nagkikita lang kami sa sitcom. Taping and after taping, we drink, but with all the staff. Hindi lang kami ang nandun,” she explained.

If ever, would Ellen become the next “Basha” in Popoy’s (JLC’s) life?

“Oo pero ‘di pa rin ready ‘yun si Kuya. Marami rin ‘yung drama sa buhay. Parang ako din!” said Ellen, who has known the actor personally way from her high school days, when she was still not in showbiz.

It can be recalled that the actress posted a photo with JLC with the caption, “Ako na lang” and “You had me at my...” which are lines from JLC’s movie with Bea Alonzo, “A Second Chance.”

How about presidential son Baste Duterte? Is Ellen giving him a second chance?

“2016 pa si Baste!” Ellen declared.

“You know what, ang sarap ma-in-love, but for now, I can’t imagine myself. Wala pa.”

Ellen takes coconut farming crash course in GenSan

Last June, Vita Coco’s own program ambassadors, Ellen Adarna and Bogart the Explorer, headed to General Santos, Mindanao to experience the pillars of the Vita Coco Hope in a Coconut Program for themselves.

The fun-loving pair visited schools where they witnessed just how important the program was to the community: in a school where classes were once held under the shade of nearby trees, now stands 12 classrooms for the students to enjoy.

At least 10 more classrooms are in the works, too. Ellen and Bogart also visited a coconut farm, where they got a personal tour from a farmer and a few farmer engagement officers, planted their own coconut trees, and had a crash course on Coconut Farming 101. The two also made their way to Vita Coco’s coconut water packing facility where they witnessed how simple and natural it is to produce the coco water brand - from picking, to cracking and packing.

Being a teacher and a farmer for the day helped them realize that coconut farmers and the farming communities need as much help as they can get. Now, they and the farming communities they have visited have a fruitful story to tell.

Vita Coco teams up with Generation Hope, one of the country’s cause-oriented, non-profit foundations, for the Hope in a Coconut Program to help make coconut farmers’ lives a little better.

Although the Philippines is the second major grower and supplier of coconut products in the world, it actually has the lowest harvest among the top five producing countries. To maintain its position, the Philippines will need to boost its coconut production by at least 50 percent over the next 10 years.

Through the Hope in a Coconut Program, farmers are helped to reach their full potential and keep up with the crazy demand for coconuts, for this year, and the years to come. The program provides farmers with quality coconut seedlings and teaches them the best farming methods and practices. Farmers are taught how to generate more sources of income by simply planting other types of crops amongst their coconut trees as well. The program also promotes education by giving communities access to better learning environments by constructing more classrooms.
