SOUNDS FAMILIAR - Baby A. Gil - The Philippine Star

Calling all Popsters everywhere. Here is your chance to present your favorite idol with a major international award. The one and only Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo is once more a nominee at this year’s MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMAs) and she needs your votes to win the honor.

Sarah G. has been picked as the official entry from the Philippines for the Best Southeast Asia Act. The nominee who will get the most votes will, of course, win. So cast your votes now. The voting is now open at mtvema.com and will continue until 6:59 a.m. on Nov. 6.

The other acts competing with Sarah, who I am sure will be also well-supported by their fans are: Bunkface from Malaysia; Dong Nhi from Vietnam; Gentle Bones from Singapore; Raisa from Indonesia; Thaitanium from Thailand; and Yuna from Malaysia.

The winner will be announced at the 2016 MTV EMAs at 4 a.m. on Nov. 7. This will be held during the live telecast around the globe that will come this year from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and which will feature performances by some of pop music’s biggest names. There will be a repeat airing on that same day at 9 p.m. And best of all, fans out here can catch the live telecast of the show on MTV Pinoy.
