MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino expressed her “sadness” over James Yap’s “missing out” as a father to their son Bimby.
On Wednesday, Kris posted a photo of Bimby during the rehearsals for his first communion. On the caption, she said that she invited James to join them on the actual ceremony today, but the invitation was “ignored.”
“While we were in Hawaii, to be precise 2X on Oct 31, 12 hours apart I sent a text informing Bimb's father about his 1st Holy Communion [and] extending an invitation,” she said.
“I had gone to Church 2X while on vacation [and] felt that I should give him the opportunity to be part of this special occasion, primarily because of the 4th Commandment: To honor thy father [and] mother,” she added.
Kris said she didn’t want to reveal that their invitation was “ignored,” but felt she had to answer one of her followers who commented that James should be part of the ceremony.
Last year, Kris and James settled their visiting issues for their son. The PBA cager even celebrated Father’s Day with him this year.
Despite this, Kris said James is not giving “time [and] effort” for their son.
“I don't have to say much more, all you have to do is check the social media accounts of both of Bimb's parents [and] you'll see the truth regarding prioritizing parental responsibility,” she said. “Hindi ko pinipigilan, walang issue na sunduin nya sa school at mag merienda sila, pero wala pong kusa. No sharing even [with] just education expense, sana man lang Time [and] Effort.”
Kris then explained that she’s posting about James “ignoring” their invitation because he wanted him to realize that “he's missing out on being a father to such a good boy.”
“It's sad that there is no effort for this kind hearted [and] generous boy from the other person in this world who should want to be a part of his life,” she added.
