1D, Vamps, Ed Sheeran in British Invasion of Manila

MANILA, Philippines - The most-awaited British Invasion of Manila heats up as Music Management, Inc. (MMI) announces more exciting news in preparation for the biggest British headliners in 2015.

Kicking off the new year was the Manchester four-piece The 1975 last Jan. 24 at SM MOA Arena, presented by MMI Live, Viva Live and Ovation Productions.

Feb. 1 is a date to remember as British teenage foursome The Vamps joins the British Invasion also presented by MMI Live, Viva Live and Ovation Productions. The group is set to perform its hit singles, Can We Dance, Wild Heart and Last Night as promo for its debut record Meet The Vamps.

The demand to see the multi-platinum recording artist and critically-acclaimed British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran increased as ticket sales started on Oct. 9, 2014. MMI Live and AEG Live have opened the sale of additional tickets on Nov. 28, 2014 giving the fans the opportunity to score the best seats in the SM MOA Arena on March 12.

One Direction (1D) will visit the Philippines for the first time for the highly-anticipated On The Road Again 2015 at the SM Concert Grounds on March 21 and 22. The tour will feature songs from the British boyband’s four chart-topping albums, including Kiss You, Steal My Girl and latest single Night Changes from its new album, Four, commemorating the fact that it is the band’s fourth album and 1D’s fourth year since its formation. 

Just in time for the two-night sold-out concert, MMI Live also announced the Philippine debut of 1D World at the SM Megamall. The famous authentic Italian chocolates Villa Del Conte will have its own version of 1D treat.

The 1D World pop-up stores are a global phenomenon that have visited cities all over the world offering everything a fan of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan could want. The store carries all kinds of imported 1D merchandise such as T-shirts, posters, phone cases, caps, calendars, life-size cardboard stand-ups of all band members and a lot of other exclusive products. 

Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis and Niall were recently awarded at the 2014 American Music Awards for Artist of the Year and Favorite Band/Group/Duo.
