More fun shooting photos in Phl

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It’s more fun for photographers, Filipinos or foreigners, to shoot sceneries, historical and cultural landmarks, centuries-old churches, charming and friendly people.

Indeed, photography is one tool to capture sceneries, landmarks, people and happy moments we can treasure.

This summer, those who want to learn photography as a hobby can take the basic photo course offered by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF). For professional photographers, FPPF conducts special courses where the participants can learn more and be more competitive.

Workshops are conducted in Tagalog and English. Special arrangemets may be made for those who require English instructions.

Participants learn photography through dedicated instructors who teach with passion because they are experienced photographers themselves. With the popularity of social networking and photo sharing sites, couples with the growing widespread use of digital photography, the FPPF stands proud as the bulwark of photography learning in the Philippines.

Participants learn photography in perfect setting — Fort Santiago, picturesque and historical.

Not only students and out-of-school youth, but also professionals like doctors, bankers, dentists, engineers, teachers, journalists, architects, accountants, nurses, designers, artists as well as celebrities are taking up the basic photography seminar.

Participants can choose whether on weekdays or weekends.

The five-Saturday basic photo seminar will start on May 10 and the five-Sunday seminar is on May 11. The next-weekday class is on April 28 to May 2. The advanced course is on May 3, 4, 10 and 11. The Wedding Photography on May 10 to 22; Strobist, May 24 and 25; Complete Digital Darkroom, May 31 and Photoshop, May 25, June 1 and 8.
