Starmall goes indie

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Starmall Alabang recently opened its newest attraction, Teatro Indie with the premiere night of Muli, a gay-themed indie film starring Cogie Domingo and Sid Lucero at the fourth level Starmall Cinema.

It was a night full of fun and blazing hot entertainment that started off with the drumming frenzy of the Tribu Bamboo Organ Drumbeaters together with some fire poi in action to light up the event with a fiery display of lights.

Present during the opening were Max Eigenmann, Rocky Salumbides and Kenneth Ocampo together with director Adolf Alix Jr. and supervising producer Ito Novencitos.

Also graced the opening were Muntinlupa City Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac and president & COO of Manuela Corporation Jerry Navarrete.

Unconventional. Unpredictable. Teatro Indie brings originality to the big screen featuring the latest and most brazen independent and digital films from the new batch of filmmakers.

Teatro Indie gives moviegoers a different kind of cinematic experience as it opens the viewer’s eyes featuring movies that tell the story of the human condition and its experiences with believable plot lines and realistic characters that often delve into the darker side of life.
