MANILA, Philippines - No, Yilmaz Bektas didn’t make a surprise appearance at the seventh birthday bash of Lorin Gabrielle Gutierrez Bektas, his daughter with estranged wife Ruffa Gutierrez. Was he missed?

The affair was held last Sunday, July 25, at the Pavilion B of the Wack Wack Golf & Country Club in Mandaluyong City.

A mini-concert featured Lorin’s younger sister Venice who showed great promise as a pop-rock singer. Lorin sang, too, as other kiddie guests did.
