MMFF 2008 awards night
Glamorous and glittering will be the three-part Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2008’s awards night consisting of the red carpet entrance of the stars, the awarding ceremony and a command performance of Katy the Musical Concert at 8:30 p.m. capping the occasion tomorrow, Dec. 27. It will be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza’s Harbor Garden Tent at 6:30 p.m. hosted by Boy Abunda. Guest performers are Karylle, Richard Poon, Sitti and Yeng Constantino.
Closing the occasion is Katy the Musical Concert featuring KC Concepcion and Jericho Rosales together with Mitch Valdez, Dulce, Rachel Alejandro, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Eugene Villaluz, Bituin Escalante, Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos, Maricris Garcia, Frenchie Dy, Gian Magdangal, Sitti and Gab Valenciano.
Tickets to the MMFFP 2008 awards night are priced at P15,000 and P10,000 with dinner while show only tickets (no dinner) are priced at P1,000 and are available at Ticketworld (with tel. no. 891-9999) and selected National Bookstore outlets, Robinsons Department Stores and Ayala Center Ticketnet (911-5555) and all SM Department Stores and the Araneta Coliseum Box Office.
