Catching the San Francisco fever

-
It does not come as a surprise to maverick real estate developer Brittany Corp. that the San Francisco lifestyle it has been advocating within its Brittany Bay community has grown to be the chosen standard of living among urban-dwellers in the country’s capital. Combining the stunning architecture with the laid back attitude and the conveniences of modern living, the San Francisco fever has certainly caught on.

Always two steps ahead, Brittany has expanded the Victorianne within La Posada to accommodate the growing demand for this unique enclave. The expansion is dedicated to a new Victorianne Area which is inspired by the picture-postcard architecture of San Francisco’s Painted Ladies — a row of opulent Victorian-style homes built in the early 1900s.

"This expansion of the Victorianne was made possible because we design our developments with the future in mind. Provisions were made in anticipation of buyers’ demand for these quaint, San Francisco-inspired homes. We are glad that we can respond to our clients’ needs now that they are asking for more of these model homes. And we are happy to welcome more Victorianne homeowners into our growing community," said Jing Serrano, Brittany president.

The new Victorianne area will make available more than 40 units of Duettos and Quadrilles. These new batch of Duettos and Quadrilles basically follow the same features of the first enclave — the trademark candy colors, bay windows and ornate details.

The Duetto, a four-level structure, has two back-to-back units to ensure the homeowners’ privacy. The lower ground floor serves as the utility area where the maid’s room, extra storage area, and the garage are located. The upper ground floor houses the pocket garden, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The second bedroom is further divided into two separate rooms. To service them is a toilet and bath outside the room across the stairs. The attic, on the other hand, can be used as an office, library, an entertainment center or it can be converted into a third bedroom. Homeowners like the fact that every space in the Duettos is utilized to the fullest. This also goes true in the case of the Quadrilles, a cluster of four units. In the new Victorianne area, the new set of Quadrilles may all have an attic, while those in the first development only feature two attics.

"Let us face it. There is no such thing as too much space. And while the first Victorianne was very-well configured to maximize every last square inch of the property, an attic, which means having an extra room, will always be a welcome addition," added Serrano. The Quadrille, which occupies a lot area of 70sqm to 75sqm has a floor area of about 120sqm — often a surprise to most clients since it shows how well-utilized the available space is. The addition of the attic would mean having a floor area of more than 150sqm to work with.

But besides owning a dream home in the Victorianne, a great advantage that goes with this choice is being welcomed in an already existing community, not in some piece of raw land. On top of this, a commercial area that features various dining options and an establishment on music and arts is just a few meters away. Additionally, residents of La Posada and Victorianne may now sweat out a game or two in the basketball court. Or, they can now enjoy fun and frolic under the sun in the 180-sqm free form swimming pool adorned by Mediterranean blue tiles. And Brittany continues to delight their homeowners as plans for the construction of the clubhouse, with function rooms for events; playground and tea garden are under way.
