Shangri-La Plaza opens new wing

Retail and business partners of the posh Shangri-La Plaza graced the much-awaited opening of the mall’s new East Wing. The launching showcased the best of the mall’s lifestyle offerings including a fashion show presenting the Fall/Holiday 2013’s key trends as interpreted by participating fashion brands, and a delicious buffet spread featuring the newest dining concepts and culinary must-tries at the East Wing. Mandaluyong City mayor Benhur Abalos joined Shangri-La Plaza Corporation’s executive vice president and general manager Lala Fojas and members of the Shang Properties board of directors Kinsun Ng, Johnny Cobankiat, Cynthia del Castillo, Bobong Noel, and KC Koay during the ribbon-cutting rites. Among those present at the event were Shangri-La Plaza executives Tony Espino and Marline Dualan, and CATS Motors, Inc. assistant vice president for sales Anthony Lao. A highlight was the Drive In Style grand raffle draw, where a lucky winner took home a brand-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz New Generation C250 CGI Avantgarde. A number of the metro’s A-listers gathered at the Duty Free Fiesta Mall in Parañaque City for the grand opening of Savoy Collections’ second store in the country.
