Jamie Geisler finally breaks her silence

Jamie Geisler finally breaks her silence
Jamie Geisler, wife of actor Baron Geisler, shows how a wife’s love never says, ‘I’ve done enough.’ At this point in her roller-coaster journey with Baron, she is not giving up nor giving in but giving way. Amid the frenzy, Jamie has also channeled her energy into a fitness journey as seen in the photos above.

If there were an award for Best Wife in a supporting role, Jamie Geisler would win it hands down. She shows how a wife’s love never says, “I’ve done enough.”

Her hubby, Baron Geisler, has always been vocal about how Jamie helped him in his sobriety journey. Jamie recently made headlines after her controversial post urging her husband, Baron, to go back to rehab. It was followed by an intriguing post asking if it’s acceptable for a personal assistant/helper to sleep in the same bed as her boss.

After the hullabaloo, Jamie opens up for the first time. I cannot thank her enough for trusting me with her story. Amid the frenzy, Jamie channeled her energy into a fitness journey. She has lost weight but not her hope. At this point in her roller-coaster journey with Baron, she is not giving up nor giving in but giving way.

Here’s Jamie’s statement:

“Baron is now recovering in a treatment facility connected with our church, CCF. He is receiving professional care, while we continue with individual therapy and work toward marriage counseling as well. We are praying for the best, taking things one day at a time, and surrendering everything to the Lord. We believe in the power of prayer, but we also believe in seeking the help and treatment that God provides through people trained to heal. Faith and professional care can work hand in hand. For now, we ask for prayers, privacy and space for healing.

“Basically, I also acknowledged that I have my faults and shortcomings. I did not like being stressed and angry. I took my therapy seriously, did continuous education for counseling and focused on loving and improving myself. I started a fitness journey instead of stress eating. My kids still need me. So, I have to stay healthy. In my next course, I will specialize in counseling for gaming and gambling addiction. Baron will have a reunion project with Althea Ruedas after the success of their movie, ‘Dollhouse.’”

Gabbi Garciaon ‘The Voice Kids’

Gabbi Garcia is revved up for her stint as a journey host in ‘The Voice Kids.’

Gabbi Garcia is revved up for her stint as journey host in “The Voice Kids,” which airs every Sunday night at 7 on GMA 7. It will bring out the “ate” in her as she serves as a mentor and not a tormentor. Gabbi is all set to show that kids are not things to be molded but persons to be unfolded.

Here’s my chat with Gabbi:

VMX actresses Margaret Diaz, Shannon Sison and Lea Bernabe.

How would you compare your hosting stint in ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB) and ‘The Voice Kids’?

“Very different! With ‘The Voice Kids,’ there’s really no script. I have to genuinely connect with the kids and get to know them — their stories, their dreams, even how they’re feeling at that moment. I think that’s what makes this role so special for me. I get to be someone they can talk to and feel comfortable with throughout their journey.”

How will you help the kids understand that rejection is part of the competition?

Edgar ‘Bobot’ Mortiz goes back to his first love — singing — in ‘Goin’ Standard: The Repeat’ on Oct. 10, 7 p.m. at the Proscenium Theater.

“The best way is by sharing my own experiences with them. I’ve had my fair share of rejections and disappointments growing up in this industry, and I’ve learned that sometimes rejection is really just redirection. It doesn’t mean you’re not good enough — it might just mean there’s something else waiting for you. I want them to remember that one moment or one result doesn’t define them.”

After almost a decade together, what does Khalil (Ramos) understand about you that nobody else does?

“He knows how hard I can be on myself. I’m very goal-oriented, and sometimes I put so much pressure on myself to keep doing better or to always be productive. Khalil knows exactly what to say when I get into that headspace. He reminds me to slow down and appreciate how far I’ve come.”

Complete this sentence: Khalil is my person because .

“He balances me. We’re different in a lot of ways, but I think that’s exactly why we work so well together. He knows how to ground me, and he brings a sense of calm into my life that I really value.”

What’s new on VMX?

For only P169, VMX lets you stream beyond your wildest dreams.

Here are the new releases from the country’s top streaming platform.

“Isla” follows the story of an alluring young woman who lives on a secluded island with her mom and stepdad. It stars Margaret Diaz as “Isla,” Shannon Sizon, Yda Manzano, Mayumi De Vera, John Mark Marcia, Mark Dionisio and Mark Anthony Fernandez. Isla continues to pursue change and a better life even as the world keeps betraying her. Is it too much for Isla to ask for freedom and to escape the only place she has ever known?

Scandals and private content will be exposed once again on “VMX TAPES VOL. 2.” Through CCTV control rooms, hidden cameras and blind spots, host Shannon Sison will present various scenarios. There’s “Hidden & Broken Promises,” which features secret recordings between couples. “The Masseuse Saga,” a three-part series that explores the controversy between masseuses and their clients, and “The Virginity Tape,” a video that was meant to be private but ended up spreading online. There’s also “The Grand Finale,” where host Shannon exposes herself on a one-shot scandal video with her partner.

In “POV: PASILIP ON VMX,” find out what happens when you see something you were never meant to see. Hosted by Lea Bernabe and Rhian Rivera, this special features voyeuristic moments from some of VMX’s most daring films to make you feel the thrill of watching in secret. In these stories, seeing is never simply seeing. A stolen glimpse can open the door to illicit affairs and temptations that are impossible to resist.

Bobot’s repeat concert

In this age of AI (Artificial Intelligence)-generated music, Edgar Mortiz remains as a true original. Bobot goes back to his first love, singing, in “Goin’ Standard: The Repeat.” His concert last June was a success, so it merits an encore. Catch it on Oct. 10, 7 p.m. at the Proscenium Theater. For details, visit Ticketworld.

With the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, Bobot will be joined by Bituin Escalante, Christian Bautista, Tirso Cruz and Belle Mariano. His “ka-loveteam” back in the day, Vilma Santos, promised to watch the show. Will Ate Vi be game to do a duet with Bot for old time’s sake?

Since nostalgia is trending these days, a Vi and Bot reunion is right on target.
