Boren signs up with Team Autocraft

Pia Boren has signed up with Team Autocraft for the remainder of the Glade Lateral Drift Championship.

Boren, formerly of Team Ultima Drift and the only lady drifter during the third leg of the series held  at the Greenhills Sopping Center parking lot on June 29, also acquired a Nissan Cefiro A31 powered by an SR20 DET turbo engine and ran it for the first time during the event where her prowess behind the wheel was met by lusty cheers and applause from the large crowd.

Supported by STP, SureSeats Racing Interiors, Tuason Racing School, City Kart Racing, Azalea Paper Machinery,Inc., Autocraft Pampanga and Goodyear, Boren executed her maneuvers precisely on a wet and slippery course.

“The grip provided by the Goodyear Eagle F1s gave me the confidence to push a little more,” she said.

Team Autocraft’s Paolo Arespacochaga, co-driver of Boren’s Cefiro, made it to the Top 16, while Paolo and Miguel Esguerra in their Toyota Trueno AE86 and Ron Bayona in his Toyota Trueno AE86 landed in the Top Eight. Team principal Audel Sison, driving a Nissan Silvia PS13, made it to the Top 4 while Giovan Bernardino placed third overall in his Nissan Cefiro A31 RB20 DET.   

Team Autocraft is looking forward to dominating the competition in the fourth and final leg.
