Unreadable postmarks

THE EAR - The Philippine Star

UNREADABLE POSTMARKS. A foreign resident of Cebu is requesting the postal authorities to provide provincial post offices with better rubber stamps that could produce readable markings on incoming and outgoing mails. “Many, if not most, of the postmarks on Phl mails are so faded the markings are unreadable,” he said.

CLEAR MARKINGS. This foreigner said if the government could not provide mechanized postmarking devices to port offices, the least it could do is provide them with better rubber stamps for manual marking of mails. “This is a small matter perhaps but it is important to offices and even individuals who record their incoming mails,” he said.
