P1.22 million shabu seized in Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics officers seized 180 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1.22 million in Iloilo City on Monday.

The illegal drugs were confiscated from Romulo Venta, 23, who was arrested in a sting in Barangay Baldoza, according to police Drug Enforcement Group director Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo.

In Bulacan, Mark Joseph Bunagan was arrested in San Jose del Monte City on Monday.

City police chief Lt. Col. Ronaldo Lumactod said the suspect was apprehended after selling shabu to undercover agents.

The suspect reportedly yielded three grams of shabu worth P20,400.
