PNP: 7-day ops yield P21 million drugs

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) seized more than P21 million worth of drugs during anti-narcotics operations in the past week.

In a statement yesterday, DEG director Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo said the drug haul was recovered in 45 operations nationwide.

Domingo said 46 drug suspects were apprehended during the stings.

Authorities confiscated 613.10 grams of shabu, 10 grams of marijuana leaves, five grams of high-grade marijuana or Kush and 84,500 pieces of marijuana plants.

“The PNP will sustain the drug war,” Domingo said.
